Sept. 16: Jazz pianist plays originals, favorite standards

Brian-Ward-80PULLMAN, Wash. – Original jazz piano compositions and works by Fats Waller, Jelly Roll Morton and Duke Ellington will be performed by Brian Ward at 8 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 16, in Kimbrough Hall at Washington State University as part of the Faculty Artist Series.

Proceeds from the series benefit the School of Music scholarship fund.

Tickets will be available in the lobby 30 minutes before the concert. They are free to WSU students with ID. The cost is $10 general admission and $5 for non-WSU students and those age 60+.

Ward is a professor of jazz piano and jazz history.
