PULLMAN, Wash. – A performance of music from a faculty member’s guitar CD – described by one reviewer as a funk, groove, jazz, fusion filled musical feast – will be at 8 p.m. Tuesday, April 22, in Kimbrough Hall at Washington State University. It is part of the Faculty Artist Series; proceeds benefit the School of Music scholarship fund.
Tickets will be available in the lobby 30 minutes before the concert. They are free to WSU students with ID. They cost $10 general admission and $5 for non-WSU students and those age 60+.
Guitarist Brad Ard’s CD, “Diver Dance,” presents 12 tunes he composed, recorded and produced in reference to his daughters’ involvement in competitive diving.
Performing with him in concert will be: Jon Anderson, keyboard; Mindy Ard, percussion; Ruth Boden, bass and cello; Dave Jarvis, drums; Dave Snider, bass; and Brian Ward, keyboard.
Information about next year’s Faculty Artist Series will be put online during the summer at http://libarts.wsu.edu/music/artistseries.htm
