March 6: Tobacco-free campus proposal focus of public forum

PULLMAN, Wash. – The ASWSU Senate will present a public forum on a proposal to designate the Washington State University main Pullman campus as tobacco-free at 6 p.m. Thursday, March 6, in CUE 202.

The forum provides an opportunity for students, staff and faculty to share their concerns, questions or ideas on the issue prior to a planned advisory referendum on March 11 and 12 in which students will vote on the idea in order to provide feedback to WSU administration.

If adopted as currently proposed, the policy would be implemented in fall 2015.
