PULLMAN, Wash. – Dogs with arthritis are being sought for two studies in veterinary clinical sciences at Washington State University Pullman.
Study procedures, office visits and laboratory tests will be free. Dog owners will be paid on completion of the study if all requirements are met.
One study will evaluate an anti-inflammatory drug for dogs diagnosed with osteoarthritis of the shoulder, hip, knee or elbow joint. Details and criteria for participation can be found at http://www.vetmed.wsu.edu/researchvcs/osteoarthritis.aspx.
The second study will evaluate the drug Phycox® in pain management for dogs with previously diagnosed osteoarthritis of the elbow only. Details and criteria can be found at http://www.vetmed.wsu.edu/researchvcs/elbow.aspx.
